Good reason to have glass coverage on your business

If you lease a retail storefront, check with your landlord to see who covers the bill if the front window(s) gets broken. After watching an old lady run into the mailbox in front of one of our stores, I wanted to make sure we were protected. I wondered, who pays if she actually comes through the window?

Reading through the lease we were surprised to find out we would have to have the windows fixed ourselves. Then my insurance agent said we could add the glass protection for a minimal cost and we did about 18 months ago.

Make sure your insurance covers an incident like this. If you need a good agent, i know one!
