Read an article in the newspaper the other day that I found interesting. There was a section about replacing memory. Pretty easy thing in a desktop. But, then moves on to doing it in a laptop as well. Some laptops you flip upside down and take a few screws out and your set. But, there are other laptops that one piece of memory will go in the bottom and then another will go under the keyboard. There are some where the memory is not on the bottom at all. Typically in these situations requires a bit more skill to take apart the laptop especially without breaking the laptop keys, cables, etc….

Personally I would never recommend that someone should replace memory in a laptop…too many things can go wrong….never a good thing. Besides we install memory for free in most cases.
